The EXP gold rush hits the MVP maps

Guild EXP has set off a fierce race. Guilds are rushing to farm the EXP they need and fund their war chests, and Unity EXP (Silver) has been reported as high as 1 million zeny at its peak.

So can guild unity be bought with zeny? For free adventurers and mercenaries, it sure can!

Fan of War PK MVP

Fan of War has sparked fierce competition on the MVP maps, with Unity EXP (Platinum) reported as high as 10,000,000 zeny.

The fight isn't just at the castles anymore. The major alliances and guilds are now going head to head over every MVP spawn.

Both sides spent more than the MVP was worth. But was the honor well earned?

The non-PK MVP hunting grounds

Even on non-PK maps, where nobody can lay a hand on each other, the MVP hunt is packed. When a boss spawns, it's rarely one party against a monster anymore. It's a race between every party on the map for the last hit.

Guilds are leaning harder on critical Assassins and Blacksmiths. The reason: they lack the damage to shut down entrances and control zones any other way.

Cover Story

Guild select: our starlight Divinity, and Sustainer of ODIN

This issue belongs to Divinity, who held their ground when every major guild came knocking; to Sustainer, who went on a rampage across both realms; and to the small guilds with big hearts, from Elven Gard to RED.

Castle held · Under siege from every side

Divinity Stands

Last war, Skoegul got caught by surprise. Not this time. Divinity faced an onslaught from every major guild except Azure and EQUILIBRIUM, and they stood.

At one point the tip of the sword almost reached the alliance's throat. Then Sustainer rushed into Kriemhild and broke the attackers' momentum.

They held Skoegul this time. Can they hold it next war?

From the Divinity camp

Through the fire, through the stars, we march.

From the streets of Prontera to the castle gates,
we gather our brethren, defying our fate.

Knights on the front line, wizards in the back,
racing shoulder to shoulder, preparing the attack.

Not just A GUILD,
WE'RE A FAMILY born in light.
Sworn to protect each other through the darkest night.

For honor, for glory, for pride in
the War of Imperium, side by side.

Sustainer

Rampage mode · Four castles in one night

The Gangster of ODIN vs the Last Gangster of ODIN!

Sustainer came out swinging. An early push into Skoegul, then straight at The Forsaken in the Scarlet Palace. They fought all the way to the flag entrance and almost had it, until the alliance arrived just in time and pushed them back out.

So they turned around, pushed into Last Gangster's own home, and took the Emperium. With only 15 minutes to go, Last Gangster Emergency Called in behind them. Sustainer answered by doing the exact same thing to Yellow Cat: an Emergency Call straight into the Gondul Emperium room!

Kicked out of one castle, they stole two Emperiums and walked home with Gondul.

Small Guild Spotlight

The other battlefield

Now our spotlight turns to four small guilds who fought fiercely on another battlefield of ODIN.

Elven Gard vs Volt

Two guilds of a similar size, around 24 members each, fought over Swanhild this war. A skirmish between small guilds is its own sight to behold on the War of Emperium field.

Land Protector up, a slow creep forward, zone control. What a classic.

The verdict: Elven Gard won! They were a bit more organized, and that was enough to take the win today.

Azure

Holding Holy Shadow alone

Not exactly a small guild, with around 30 members, Azure calls Holy Shadow home. Early in the war they had a few skirmishes with Elven Gard and Holy Basil.

Holy Shadow isn't a castle one guild can normally hold on its own. What a bold choice!

III

RED

Tiny guild · Huge heart · ~20–30 members

Small guild. Big heart. Bigger grudge.

RED doesn't back down. They've fought Last Gangster everywhere: on the MVP fields, in the Megaphone trash-talk wars, and now in the War of Emperium. And they do it with a roster of just 20 to 30 members.

For the second war in a row, Last Gangster answered with an Emergency Call. Last war, it came up one minute short and RED held on. This war, the call landed, the Emperium broke, and Bamboo Grove Hill became Last Gangster's second castle. RED's castle investment went down with it.

Two wars, two Emergency Calls, one castle lost. Is RED done? Don't bet your zeny on it.

Rivalry Watch

A blood feud born on the MVP maps

This rivalry started on the MVP hunting grounds, and it has been bloody ever since. Last Gangster chased RED all the way into Bamboo Grove Hill, and this war they finally took it.
