The new era is here (or not)

With •[D]estraCtiOn• settled in at Holy Shadow, the castle has become the place to test yourself. Newer guilds and veterans alike want a shot at it.

Last Gangster made the first move. They pushed into •[D]estraCtiOn•'s castle and landed an Emergency Call right at the Emperium, a clear sign of intent, before heading back to defend Kriemhild.

•[D]estraCtiOn• held firm and pushed them back out, keeping Holy Shadow for another week. Both sides showed what they can do, and this one looks far from settled. Aurora, RED and Azure kept busy around the entrance.

The new era? Ask again next week.

Meta Report

Big guilds with full resources are now running full-party leveling in the PVP Sphinx, rushing their members to the level 70 cap.

High-MDEF gear now fetches a really high price. A top-end Crystal Pump (MHP +600, MDEF 5) is selling for 15–50m.

A full roster of level 70 characters would be an insane advantage in WoE. The catch: the EXP table climbs exponentially.

The grind: crowds and fire

Dwarf Dungeon F02 is packed. It's a very hard life for melee and other non-skill-based classes, who have to level at Pasana or Marduk instead: faster EXP, but a much harder grind.

Massive demand has sent Fire Converter scroll prices soaring, and Red Blood now fetches as much as 20k on the buying market.

The Forsaken

Lords of Scarlet Palace

Out of the palace at last

Finally, after a long while, we see The Forsaken outside Scarlet Palace! This time they pushed alone into Sacred Altar, fought Elven Gard, and plunged deep into Illuminati's castle all the way to the Emperium room.

Then came the twist: an Emergency Call into Bamboo Grove Hill. The Forsaken ended the war holding two castles, Scarlet Palace and Bamboo Grove Hill.

Illuminati

Old-timers from PH

A castle at last

They've been in our pages since the very first issue, knocking on Last Gangster's door at Kriemhild. After many wars of trying, Illuminati finally has a castle of their own. Another old-timer guild, this one from the Philippines, fielding around 50 members.

This war they held Sacred Altar to the end, even with The Forsaken pushing deep into their castle. It's their trophy for the week.

Azure & RED

The drifters calling for home

Drifting like a cloud

After taking hits from •[D]estraCtiOn• at Holy Shadow two wars running, the Azure and RED alliance has been drifting around like a cloud, looking for a new home.

This war they took a dip back into Holy Shadow early on, clashing with •[D]estraCtiOn•'s scouts and fighting on there. Then they turned north, pushed into Divinity at Gondul, and dug in at Swanhild, holding it until the last 3 minutes, when Last Gangster and their alliance finally broke through.

Compared with our early issues, this is a far more mature guild: just look at their defensive formation. They only need a little more.

So close, yet so far.

The missing pieceWhat's missing? An allied guild holding outside the Emperium room, or a dedicated defense party at the flag entrance.
